In 2025, we（ Hengtai Packaging） received a customization request for coffee packaging themed “Dark Green Base · Coexistence with Nature.”
They are an independent brand specializing in specialty pour-over coe, aiming to break away from the homogenized design of traditional packaging while conveying the concept of “sustainable coffee.” The goal is to reinforce consumer awareness of the brand’s environmental commitment thsual symbols and functional design.
After initial discussions, it was decided that the packaging bag would feature a dark green base color paired with minimalist line designs to highlight the natural tef the coffee beans; degradable materials would be used to reduce plastic consumption.
Following continuous communication and coordination, the final design adopted a deep brown inspired by roasted coffee beans and a dark gr inspired by plant leaves, symbolizing the “connection between land and life.” A matte finish was applied to eliminate glare and emphasize the coffee’s rich, mellow character.
arcane fiber composite film with a thickness of 0.8mm was selected, which is tear-resistant and fully biodegradable. Tested by SGS, the degradation cyce is only 18 months.
A nano-level hydrophobic coating was added to the inner layer of the bag; practical tests showed that under 90% humidity, the moisture content ocoffee beans changed by only 0.3% within 24 hours.
Environmental protection is not a compromise, but an upgrade; “sustainability” and “premium qua can coexist.
